The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Water Resources introduced the relevant situation of accelerating the construction of modern water networks. From January to September this year, 41,400 water conservancy projects of various types were implemented across the country, and 795 billion yuan was invested in water conservancy construction. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, China will accelerate the construction of a river basin flood prevention and disaster reduction system. By the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan, we will strive to increase the storage capacity of reservoirs by 15 billion cubic meters and achieve a compliance rate of 91% for important embankments.
