[Chinese researchers decipher the "bacterial code" of migratory locusts gathering to lay eggs] On October 2, we learned from the Institute of Agricultural Genomics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, that recently, the Agricultural Pest Genomics Innovation Team of the Institute of Agricultural Genomics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, in conjunction with many scientific research units at home and abroad, revealed the molecular mechanism by which migratory locusts gather and lay eggs with the help of maternally transmitted symbiotic bacteria. Relevant research results were published in Cell.
