[Huawei and Qualcomm announced a broad patent licensing agreement] On October 5, Huawei and Qualcomm announced a long-term, broad patent licensing agreement. The agreement includes cross-licensing of the patent portfolios of both parties in multiple technical fields such as 5G, computing, artificial intelligence, and networks. At the same time, Qualcomm will acquire some of Huawei’s U.S. patents in computing, artificial intelligence, networks, and other technical fields.
