[Mobile phones will be banned in Polish primary schools from September] On August 28, Polish Ministry of Education spokesperson Gorczyka revealed to the media that starting from September 1, students in Polish public and non-public primary schools will not be allowed to use communication, audio and video equipment, including mobile phones, in classrooms, recesses and school activities. Educational activities outside school are also restricted. Children are prohibited from bringing electronic devices into kindergartens. Exemptions may only be made in emergencies or special illnesses with the consent of the principal.
