[The Alternative for Germany candidate was elected speaker of the state of Saxony-Anhalt] October 6th, the parliament of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt (Saxony-Anhalt) elected the speaker today (October 6). Tobias Rausch became speaker of the state parliament as candidate of the Alternative for Germany party, receiving 48 out of 82 votes. This is also the first time that a candidate from this far-right party has been elected speaker of the state parliament. (CCTV International News)
