[An oil tanker was attacked in the waters near Qatar, causing casualties] On October 8, the British Maritime Trade Action Office issued a report on the 7th saying that an oil tanker was hit by multiple projectiles in the waters near Qatar that day, and casualties were reported. Most of the incidents involving attacks on ships occurred in and around the Strait of Hormuz. This report shows that the incident occurred in the northern waters of Qatar, closer to the hinterland of the Persian Gulf.
