[China Securities Association: 136 securities firms achieved profits in the first half of the year, with profits exceeding 90%] On October 8, the China Securities Association issued an analysis of the operating conditions of the securities industry in the first half of this year to securities firms. According to the analysis, in the first half of the year, 150 securities companies in the industry achieved operating income of 329.810 billion yuan and net profit of 138.664 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.38% and 23.50% respectively. Among them, 136 securities firms achieved profitability, accounting for more than 90% of the total. The loss-making securities firms were mainly investment banking subsidiaries. (Securities Times)
