[Russia’s wheat exports in September may fall to the lowest level since 2010] On August 31, according to the agency Sov Ekon, Russia’s wheat exports in September may fall to the lowest level in September for the same period since 2010 due to the obstruction of port operations in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, which inhibits freight. Softecon data shows that wheat exports in September are expected to be 1.8 million-2.3 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 52.1%-62.5%. Softekon said Russia's wheat exports in August were 2 million tons, down 55.6% year-on-year and 60% below the five-year average. Exporters are increasing cargo volumes through land ports and alternative routes such as Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
