[The China Securities Association is soliciting opinions from the pilot comprehensive account management of securities companies’ customers to regular practice] On August 31, the China Securities Association was soliciting opinions from the industry on the "Guidelines for the Management of Comprehensive Accounts of Customers of Securities Companies". It is reported that this move is to optimize the account management functions of securities firms, standardize the comprehensive account management of customers, and improve the wealth management service level of securities firms. Based on the experience of the previous pilot account management function optimization, under the guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the China Securities Association organized the drafting of relevant documents. It is reported that the draft opinion is based on pilot practice and takes into account universal applicability. On the basis of a comprehensive survey and summary of the practical experience of 21 pilot securities firms, the industry's practical differences will be coordinated, and service requirements such as fund transfers and ledger account management for the same name account will be further standardized to promote the industry to achieve "unified understanding, unified execution, and unified experience"; at the same time, reasonable space will be reserved for service diversity above the bottom line, taking into account the actual conditions of securities companies of different sizes and different business structures. In 2021, the China Securities Regulatory Commission launched a pilot program to optimize the account management functions of securities companies, guiding securities companies to optimize existing account management models from three aspects: establishing comprehensive customer accounts, supporting transfers with the same name, and classified account management. Currently, a total of 21 securities companies have obtained pilot qualifications.
