[The U.S. ITC officially launches a Section 337 investigation into vertical power transmission systems, their components and downstream computer systems] October 10th, according to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted on October 9 to launch a Section 337 investigation (Investigation Code: 337-TA-1526) into certain vertical power delivery systems, components thereof, and computing systems containing the same. On September 9, Vicor Corporation of Andover, Massachusetts filed a Section 337 investigation application with the US ITC, claiming that the product exported to, imported to, and sold in the United States violated US Section 337 (infringement of US registered patent number 10,903,734), and requested the US ITC to issue a limited exclusion order and prohibition order.
