[Mauritania forms a new government Ajayi still serves as Prime Minister] October 11th, the Mauritanian Presidential Palace issued a statement on the formation of a new government in the country on the evening of October 10th local time. The content mainly involves the following personnel appointments: Mukhtar Bousseff was appointed as Minister of Interior and Local Development, and Ba Usman was appointed as Minister of Interior and Local Development. Minister of Defense, appointing Mohamedou Ould Mhamid as Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mohamed Abdel Fattah as Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mohamed Ould Barbana as Minister of Culture and Arts, and a number of other ministerial appointments. Among them, the post of Prime Minister is still held by Ajayi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is still held by Marzouk, the Minister of Justice is still held by Mohamed Ould Suedat, and the Minister of Finance is still held by Codiolo Moussa Ngenol.
