[The Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces are fighting fiercely in many places] October 11th: In the past few days, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces have continued to engage in fierce exchanges of fire in many places in central and southeastern Sudan, causing a large number of civilian casualties. Currently, the Kordofan region in central Sudan is one of the main battlefields fought between the two sides. The Sudanese Armed Forces have recently launched multiple rounds of large-scale offensives and claim to have controlled more than 90% of North Kordofan. The Rapid Support Forces retreated to West Kordofan, trying to prevent the Sudanese Armed Forces from continuing to advance westward.
