[Nepali flash flood death toll rises to 616] August 29, according to the latest data released by the Nepal police, as of 6 a.m. local time on the 29th, the death toll caused by flash floods in northern Nepal has risen to 616. On the 26th, flash floods broke out in the Resowa region of northern Nepal. The Nepalese government decided on the 26th to classify some local administrative units in the disaster-stricken areas as disaster crisis areas for a period of three months in accordance with relevant laws and regulations in order to centrally allocate rescue resources, strengthen personnel management and control, and promote post-disaster recovery work.
