[Hong Kong: Explore the establishment of a demonstration zone for low-altitude economic products going overseas to support the connection with mainland and international low-altitude standards] On October 16, the Hong Kong Low-altitude Economy Development Working Group worked with all parties in the industry to discuss the establishment of a demonstration zone for low-altitude economic products going overseas, aiming to provide one-stop supporting services for low-altitude economic import and export trade and further support the country’s low-altitude economic enterprises going overseas. In addition, the country ranks at the forefront of the world in the development of low-altitude economy, and its development in drone manufacturing, complete industrial chains and application scenarios is particularly outstanding. As the international community has yet to reach a consensus on unified low-altitude technical standards, Hong Kong, as an international aviation hub and international innovation and technology center, is well-positioned to establish a low-altitude economic standards framework that benchmarks internationally and is in line with the mainland. In this regard, the Hong Kong SAR government has been verifying various low-altitude economic technologies through the low-altitude economic "Regulatory Sandbox" and "Regulatory Sandbox X" to improve local low-altitude economic standards. The Hong Kong SAR government actively promotes closer cooperation with the mainland (especially the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area) and overseas jurisdictions to support the connection of local low-altitude standards with the mainland and the international community.
