[Three Departments: Elderly care institutions run by public medical and health institutions are inclusive supportive elderly care institutions, and the basic service fees charged are subject to government-guided price management] On October 16, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the National Health Commission issued the "Guiding Opinions on Further Improving the Price Formation Mechanism and Promoting the Improvement and Expansion of Inclusive Elderly Care Services." It is pointed out that the elderly care institutions run by public medical and health institutions are inclusive support nursing institutions, and the basic service fees collected are managed at government-guided prices. On the basis of the fees charged by inclusive supportive elderly care institutions, the benchmark charging standards can be appropriately increased according to the increase in costs to promote the development of integrated medical and nursing care. Other nursing institutions that provide combined medical and nursing care services implement corresponding charging management methods according to the nature of the institution. If the government guides price or charging standard reference interval management is implemented, the basic service fee is formulated in accordance with the above principles.
