[Three Departments: In principle, the charges of community elderly care service institutions with less than 10 full-care beds are subject to market-regulated prices] On October 16, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the National Health Commission issued the "Guiding Opinions on Further Improving the Price Formation Mechanism and Promoting the Improvement and Expansion of Inclusive Elderly Care Services." It pointed out that in terms of community and home-based elderly care services, the fees charged by community elderly care service institutions with less than 10 full-care beds should in principle be subject to market-adjusted prices. If necessary, government-guided price management can be implemented after approval by the provincial people's government. Encourage elderly care institutions and community elderly care service agencies to provide door-to-door services to the elderly at home in need on the basis of ensuring service quality. In principle, door-to-door service fees are subject to market-adjusted prices, and are reasonably formulated by service agencies taking into account service costs, transportation costs, supply and demand and other factors. Industry authorities at the prefecture level and above can work with the development and reform departments to clarify the reference range of charging standards and guide reasonable charging.
