[Generative AI can design proteins from the atomic level] October 19th, according to the latest issue of Science magazine, a team of scientists including David Baker, the 2024 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry and a professor at the University of Washington, has developed a new generative AI system RFdiffusion3 (RFD3), which can directly design proteins and nucleic acids from the atomic level, and the speed of generating protein structures is about 10 times that of the previous generation system.
