[Ukraine is highly dependent on U.S. satellites, and Europe’s space-based intelligence and communication capabilities are still struggling to fill the gap] October 20th, Ukraine’s ability to resist Russian attacks relies heavily on U.S. satellites. It not only requires satellites to provide early warning of incoming missiles, but also requires satellite communications to maintain the operation of drones and frontline troops. European countries are trying to catch up with the United States in space-based intelligence and communications, but still lack many key capabilities to support Ukraine's combat operations and missile defense systems.
