[Application of voltage can change the magnetic state of four-layer graphene material] On October 21, a latest study conducted by a Cornell University research team found that applying voltage to a material composed of four layers of graphene can change the relative arrangement between the layers, causing the material to switch between non-magnetic and magnetic states. What's more noteworthy is that this magnetic state can still be maintained after the voltage is removed. This discovery provides new ideas for regulating the quantum properties of two-dimensional materials. The relevant paper was published in the new issue of Nature Nanotechnology.
