On October 21, the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Indonesia said that this RRR cut is expected to release approximately 190 trillion Indonesian rupiah in liquidity. Previously, the governor of Indonesia's central bank said that the bank deposit reserve ratio will be lowered to 7% in two steps, to 8% on November 1 and to 7% on December 1.
