[NVIDIA joins hands with medical and life science companies to advance drug discovery and precision cancer treatment] On October 21, NVIDIA announced that it would cooperate with a number of global medical and scientific research institutions to promote protein design, drug discovery and cancer treatment. NVIDIA and the Institute for Protein Design at Washington University School of Medicine have launched the open model RFD4-Proteina, which combines programmable protein design and search capabilities to help researchers generate and screen candidate proteins. Siemens Healthineers is collaborating with NVIDIA to develop a new generation of adaptive radiotherapy technology and explore the use of AI agents to collaboratively formulate treatment plans, patient personalized simulations and real-time calculations. In addition, companies such as Benchling and Danaher are developing scientific research agents based on the NVIDIA BioNeMo platform to connect drug design, automated laboratories and biological research processes.
