[Samsung Electro-Mechanics joins Nvidia's substrate supply chain and will expand production facilities in South Korea] On October 21, Nvidia announced that Samsung Electro-Mechanics will join its substrate supply chain, initially using existing production capacity in South Korea to supply, and promoting plant upgrades and new projects in Sejong and Busan, South Korea. By 2028, the production allocated to Nvidia is expected to account for a significant proportion of Samsung Electro-Mechanics' total annual packaging substrate production capacity.
