[China has made an important breakthrough in the comprehensive utilization of refractory iron ore resources] September 1st, China is the world's largest consumer of iron ore, accounting for more than half of the world's iron ore consumption. It is highly dependent on foreign countries, and its resource pricing power and supply chain security face long-term challenges. In order to get rid of this situation, the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, after more than 20 years of continuous research, broke through the core technical bottleneck of efficient utilization of refractory iron ore for the first time in the world. The world's largest refractory iron ore magnetization and roasting project built based on this technology was also completed and accepted today (September 1).
