[UBS: Recent corrections have improved risk returns and A shares are still attractive] On October 23, UBS’s latest research report maintained the “attractive” view of A shares, believing that the recent market weakness has improved risk returns and has not substantially changed its positive judgment on profit prospects. Rising U.S. bond yields and renewed geopolitical concerns have suppressed some technology and materials stocks, but so far have had a limited impact on fundamentals. The 2027 profit forecast for the CSI 300 information technology sector continues to be revised upwards, which enhances UBS's confidence before the third quarter financial reporting season. In terms of allocation, UBS prefers selected technology and advanced manufacturing leaders, innovative healthcare companies and globally competitive export companies. It is also optimistic about high-quality dividend-paying companies, especially large Chinese banks.
