[National Development and Reform Commission: The southern regional power market has basically formed a regionally integrated market structure] On October 26, it was learned from the National Development and Reform Commission that after one year of continuous settlement reform in the southern regional power market, the southern region has basically formed a regionally integrated market structure. At present, there are more than 270,000 registered operating entities in the southern regional market, accounting for a quarter of the country's total; market-based transaction electricity accounts for 67.5%, exceeding the national average by about 4 percentage points. Through the market-based adjustment system of "peak and valley prices, tight and tight adaptation", the efficiency of resource allocation has continued to rise. Since the continuous settlement trial operation, the West-East power transmission has exceeded the planned increase in power transmission by more than 20 billion kilowatt-hours. The total power transmission in 2025 will reach 261.6 billion kilowatt-hours, setting a record high.
