[Castle Investment Salame warns of AI financing risks: "Some ships will sink" under the wave] October 26th, the AI boom sweeping the global economy is bringing about profound changes, but this wave will also leave some "victims" wherever it goes. At least that’s what Pablo Salame, Citadel Investments’ co-chief investment officer, thinks. Salame said the huge capital needs to support the AI revolution are conflicting with lenders who are cautious and unwilling to take such large risks. He said this would force a rebalancing between stock-picking investors seeking multiple returns on their investments and creditors who need to ensure their money can be recovered. Salame said, "Although the AI wave will lift all boats, it will also sink some ships, and this wave will be full of ups and downs."
