[AI can predict cancer’s response to immunotherapy in advance] October 27th: Some patients who also received immunotherapy benefited significantly, while others had a weak or even ineffective response. Scientists at Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea have developed an artificial intelligence (AI) method that can predict the response to immunotherapy in advance by analyzing the genetic information of cancer patients, thereby helping to determine which patients are more likely to benefit from it. The relevant paper was published in the latest issue of "Digital Medicine" magazine.
