[New regulations released: Cable TV is not allowed to play start-up advertisements] On October 27th, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television officially issued the "Cable Radio and Television Operation Service Management Regulations", which will be implemented from November 27th. Article 12 of the "Regulations" clarifies that cable radio and television operation service providers should adhere to the principle of giving priority to live broadcasts, implement the function of watching full-screen live broadcasts at startup, set up channel review entrances, and are not allowed to play startup advertisements.
