[Morgan Stanley: The correction of chip stocks has come to an end and will end in mid-November] October 27th: Although the pressure on U.S. stocks has increased recently as enthusiasm for AI trading has cooled, Morgan Stanley chief stock market strategist Mike Wilson still sticks to his prediction that the S&P 500 index will close at 8,000 points by the end of the year. Morgan Stanley's tactical downside target for the S&P 500 is 7,100 to 7,200, just below the 200-day moving average. However, the bank's basic expected target for the S&P 500 index at the end of the year is still 8,000 points, and pointed out that several upcoming liquidation events, including the mid-term elections, should mark the end of the current stock market correction. However, Wilson is relatively cautious about the semiconductor sector. He believes that the support level of the sector may be well below the current level, but also points out that the selling pressure faced by semiconductor stocks may ease next month.
