[Total Energy acquires shares in 26 exploration blocks offshore the United States] October 28th - An email statement showed that Total Energy acquired 25% of the mining interests in 26 exploration leases offshore the United States operated by Chevron. Chevron also acquired a 75% operating interest in two exploration leases from Total Energy, which are adjacent to the parties' existing jointly held exploration leases.
