[Japan’s DDR5 memory prices soar] On October 30, a survey by Japan’s Akihabara PC hotline showed that the prices of most DDR5 memory sets have increased 4 to 5 times year-on-year, with a month-on-month increase of up to 62%. The increase in DDR5 prices has also driven the popularity of DDR4. DDR4 memory prices have increased by approximately 24% in the past three months.
