[OpenAI announces that some functions of ChatGPT will share quotas with Codex] On November 1, OpenAI announced that starting from December, the usage quotas of ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Business packages will be shared between ChatGPT and Codex. OpenAI is integrating Work's agent capabilities into the main interactive interface of ChatGPT. Usage is counted in Token, and the consumption quota depends on the complexity of the model and task. Complex tasks consume higher costs; Instant chat does not occupy this shared quota. OpenAI expects that most users will wait for credit resets no more frequently than they do now.
