The statement stated that from February 15 to October 27, 2026, a total of 70 drone attacks occurred from Ethiopia, involving 187 suicide drones and 82 munitions dropped by armed drones. These attacks killed 484 civilians, 176 Sudanese soldiers were killed, and 200 soldiers were injured. The statement also stated that Sudan will lodge a complaint with the United Nations Security Council and the African Union Peace and Security Council, while retaining the right to exercise self-defense in accordance with international law.
