[Trump threatens to “throw a heavy hammer” on Iran “at some point”] November 2: U.S. President Trump once again threatened to resume military strikes on Iran at a campaign rally in Iowa on November 1, saying that at “some point” he would have to “throw a heavy hammer” against Iran. The U.S. midterm elections will be held on November 3. Trump told his supporters at a rally that day: "The only reason I didn't end Iran is because I want to be a good person... But at some point, we are going to have to 'throw the hammer' on them."
