[The “Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for Green Development of Civil Aviation” Issuance] On November 2, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the “Implementation Plan for the Green Development of Civil Aviation during the “15th Five-Year Plan””. The "Implementation Plan" clarifies that by 2030, civil aviation will achieve breakthrough progress in its green and low-carbon transformation, the industry's dual control system for total carbon emissions and intensity will be initially established, the energy consumption structure will be further optimized, and the synergy of carbon reduction and pollution reduction will be significantly enhanced. The carbon dioxide emissions per ton-kilometer of transportation and airport passenger throughput will be reduced by 4% and 15% respectively compared with the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, firmly ranking among the world's advanced ranks.
