[Silicon Industry Branch: The contraction of polysilicon supply continues this week and the relationship between supply and demand improves] On November 4, according to the Silicon Industry Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the transaction price of n-type compound silicon (rod silicon) this week was 43,000 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous month; the transaction price of n-type granular silicon was in the range of 40,000-41,000 yuan/ton, and the average transaction price was 40,300 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous month. Spot transactions in the domestic polysilicon market remained light this week, with the number of newly signed companies remaining at 2-3. The actual number of orders signed for re-investment is relatively small, and only a few companies have reached a small number of transactions. Granular silicon maintains a stable shipment pace and prices are generally stable. Polycrystalline silicon manufacturers continue to insist on selling at no less than full cost, and the market price remains stable overall. Downstream customers mainly consume inventory, and procurement maintains a wait-and-see rhythm. The futures market fluctuated due to the cancellation of warehouse receipts in November, but this was a technical change in the delivery process.
