[Stock repurchases and holdings and re-lending will increase from now on: Many banks will increase their efforts to connect listed companies, and loan interest rates are expected to be lowered] On November 4, the official website of the People's Bank of China issued a document stating that from now on, the stock repurchases and holdings and re-loans will be reduced by 0.25 percentage points to 1%. The support targets for stock repurchase, holdings increase and re-lending are 21 national banks and 5 systemically important city commercial banks, with a support ratio of 100% and a period of 1 year. The reporter learned that recently, many state-owned banks, including ICBC and China CITIC Bank, have been increasing their connections with listed companies and arranging loans. A person from a national commercial bank said that before this interest rate adjustment, the special loans issued by the bank since last year for stock repurchases and holdings were maintained at around 2%, and most of them were below 2%. "Already lower than the conventional operating loan and liquidity loan interest rates." After this adjustment, banks will also lower loan interest rates accordingly, and are expected to keep pace with the central bank. But different banks may have slightly different interest rates, "but the difference will not be big, because the relevant departments generally provide guidance on the interest rate ceiling for such loans."
