[Study finds that regulating fatty acid metabolism may help clear senescent cells] November 4th, an international study involving the University of Eastern Finland found that the metabolic levels of some fatty acids may affect or even determine whether damaged cells enter a senescent state and continue to survive in the body, or are cleared through cell death. Modulating the metabolic levels of these fatty acids may provide new clues for exploring new treatments for aging-related diseases. Relevant research results were recently published in the international academic journal Cell.
