[Many Irish media received bomb threats] November 6th: Many Irish media organizations received bomb threats today (November 6), and some offices were evacuated. The headquarters of Ireland's national radio and television station was affected, and some programs were temporarily interrupted. The police have been involved in the investigation. A reporter from Ireland's National Radio and Television read out excerpts of a threatening email on live broadcast - the threatening email claimed that the sender was the organization behind a series of bomb threats to flights in Europe this week. But the excerpt read by the reporter during the live broadcast did not name the organization. From November 3 to today, in just four days, thirty or forty flights in Europe encountered "fake bomb" threats. Although it was later proven to be a false alarm, many passengers expressed deep concerns about the overall aviation safety situation in Europe. The flight changes and downgrades caused by the threat also caused losses to airlines. (CCTV International News)
