[Iran said two oil tankers struck a mine and caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz] November 8, in the early morning of the 8th local time, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that two “illegal oil tankers” struck a mine and caught fire earlier, one of which was located in the eastern Strait of Hormuz and the other in the middle of the Strait of Hormuz. The two oil tankers struck a mine while trying to pass through a waterway not authorized by Iran. The Revolutionary Guards Navy has warned that any ship that cooperates with the United States and violates Iran's regulations in the Strait of Hormuz will "certainly hit a mine."
