According to reports, a total of 12 batches of centralized procurement of drugs have been carried out at the national level, covering 555 types of drugs; 6 batches of centralized procurement of high-value medical consumables have been carried out, covering 142 types of consumables in 9 categories. At the same time, provincial-level centralized procurement has been carried out in various places to continue to facilitate the public's access to high-quality and affordable pharmaceutical products. In the next step, the medical insurance department will continue to expand the coverage of centralized purchasing. Regularly carry out the centralized procurement of drugs and medical consumables organized by the state, guide local governments to further promote inter-provincial alliance procurement, continue to adhere to the principle of "no centralized procurement of new drugs, centralized procurement of non-new drugs", include more varieties with large clinical use and inflated prices into the scope of procurement, continue to deepen the fields of traditional Chinese medicine, biological drugs, medical consumables and other fields, and effectively reduce the cost burden of the people. At the same time, we adhere to the principles of "stabilizing clinical practice, ensuring quality, resisting involution, and preventing bid-rigging", optimize procurement rules, pay more attention to clinical needs, and guide the industry to compete fairly and rationally through "extremely high prices will lead to elimination, and abnormally low prices without quantity", and resolutely combat bid-rigging in the field of centralized pharmaceutical procurement. In addition, it is required to work together to ensure quality and stable supply. Collaboration with the drug regulatory department will be strengthened to strictly enforce the quality threshold requirements for centralized procurement. We will continue to carry out "full coverage" of inspections of enterprises selected for national centralized procurement and variety sampling, and seriously deal with companies that find problems. Supervise the selected enterprises to fulfill their main responsibilities in ensuring supply and effectively ensure the fulfillment of supply contracts. Supervision and monitoring will be carried out focusing on the standardization of centralized collection and reporting volume and the implementation of winning results, while optimizing assessments to avoid "one size fits all". Promote direct settlement between medical insurance and pharmaceutical companies, promote centralized procurement of selected drugs into primary medical institutions, private hospitals, and designated retail pharmacies, and expand the scope of public access.
