[The State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration publicly solicits opinions on the "Administrative Measures for Information Disclosure of Banking and Insurance Institutions (Draft for Comment)"] On September 4, the State Administration of Financial Supervision publicly solicited opinions on the "Administrative Measures for Information Disclosure of Banking and Insurance Institutions (Draft for Comment)". The "Measures" absorb, inherit, merge and integrate the main contents of the banking, insurance, and trust information disclosure measures issued earlier, unify the information disclosure standards, and expand the scope of application to various types of banking and insurance institutions supervised by the State Administration of Financial Supervision. By consolidating the existing relatively fragmented regulations, the convenience of querying and implementing the regulations has been improved. The "Measures" strengthen the information disclosure management requirements, further standardize the information disclosure behavior of banking and insurance institutions, require institutions to establish an information disclosure management system, and consolidate the responsibilities of directors, supervisors and senior managers. The regulatory framework has been improved, and regulatory means such as regulatory evaluation, on-site inspection and off-site supervision, regulatory inquiries, regulatory measures, and administrative penalties have been stipulated. At the same time, differentiated information disclosure requirements are clarified according to the characteristics of different types of institutions.
