[Shanghai Institute of Optics and Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences has made progress in the field of multi-dimensional multiplexing optical computing] September 7th, according to the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the team of researcher Xie Peng from the Space and Space Laser Technology and Systems Department of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences has recently made progress in the field of multi-dimensional multiplexing optical computing. Relevant results were published in Laser & Photonics Reviews. Based on the research on the "Meteor 1" ultra-high parallel optical computing integrated chip, the research team further expanded the integration of wavelength division multiplexing, spatial division multiplexing and multi-task matrix network sharing, built a multi-dimensional multiplexing optical computing architecture, realized parallel processing of multi-task and multi-modal information, and verified its feasibility in remote sensing image registration and recognition tasks.
