[China's first 500MW independently controllable heavy-duty gas turbine exported to Malaysia] On September 8, Shanghai Electric successfully won the bid for the Malaysian Samalaju 500MW gas-steam combined cycle generator project. The acquisition of this project marks an important step for Shanghai Electric to independently export heavy-duty gas turbines overseas. It provides strong support for China's production capacity in the current shortage of foreign heavy-duty gas turbines. It marks that Shanghai Electric has achieved from single-unit manufacturing to 25 heavy-duty gas turbines. The technology coverage of Changchun Xie's entire life cycle is comparable to the first echelon of international heavy-duty gas turbines.
