[ASML begins construction of second large-scale production park, first phase will be completed in 2029] September 8th, it was reported that ASML started construction of a major new project on Tuesday. The production park is located in the Netherlands and is trying to keep up with the rising demand with the artificial intelligence boom. The investment will eventually add space for up to 20,000 workers, with the first phase, targeted for completion in 2029, adding offices, logistics and a so-called cleanroom space - a controlled environment for specialized equipment manufacturing. ASML says a new "flow factory" design will make it possible to build and assemble its giant chip printing tools faster and more efficiently.
