[Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, Xu Changneng, attended the Bank for International Settlements' regular meeting of the presidents] September 9th: From September 6th to 7th, Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, Xuan Changneng, attended the regular meeting of the presidents of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, Switzerland. The participating central bank governors conducted in-depth exchanges on the global economic and financial situation, how the central bank responds to supply shocks, the rapid iteration of artificial intelligence technology, the challenges to monetary policy caused by the changing external environment, and central bank policy communication. During the meeting, Vice Governor Xuanchangneng met with some participating central bank governors and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
