[US Secretary of State says it will continue to attack Iranian oil tankers] September 9th, US Secretary of State Rubio said in the northern Colombian coastal city of Barranquilla on the 8th that the United States will continue to attack Iranian oil tankers in response to Iran’s attacks. Rubio visited Colombia that day and met with Colombian President de la Espriea. After the meeting, he talked to the media about the situation in Iran. Earlier on the 8th, the U.S. Central Command posted on social media that after Iran launched an attack on a U.S. ship, the U.S. military destroyed five Iranian oil tankers that day. Talking about the situation in Ukraine, Rubio said that the United States is expected to develop a "road map" in the next few weeks to restart negotiations between Russia and Ukraine and ultimately reach an agreement acceptable to both parties.
