According to the agreement, Delta Energy will carry out geological and geophysical exploration, seismic survey, exploration drilling and oil reservoir evaluation in the Kushk-Tirpul block in Herat Province, and study the feasibility of supplying gas to the Herat Industrial Park, Herat City and other areas. The two parties will also study the construction of a natural gas pipeline with a total length of about 700 kilometers to connect Herat and the areas near Kandahar. Delta Energy estimates that the potential investment scale of the pipeline in the next 10 years will be about 10 billion US dollars.
