[Semaglutide Injection Approved for Metabolism-Associated Steatohepatitis Indication] On September 10, according to the "Novo Nordisk China R&D Center", on September 10, the marketing application for Semaglutide Injection (trade name: Novoin®) for metabolism-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) indication was approved by China. The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved it for the treatment of non-cirrhotic adult patients with metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) accompanied by moderate to severe liver fibrosis (in line with stage F2-F3 fibrosis), becoming the first and only GLP-1RA drug approved for the treatment of MASH.
