[China and the United States successfully jointly detected a transnational drug-related case] September 10th: Recently, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) successfully jointly detected a transnational production and trafficking of synthetic cannabinoid substance precursors. It is understood that in early May 2026, the United States notified China of clues about the involvement of two Chinese citizens, Xing Moumou and Song Moumou. After investigation, it was found that this clue was related to a case under internal investigation in China, and the Ministry of Public Security decided to merge the case for investigation. In mid-August, the Ministry of Public Security organized police from Hebei and other places to launch a unified operation to close the net, arresting 21 people involved in the case, including Xing and Song, and seized a batch of non-listed precursor chemicals that can be used in drug production. In the early stage, the United States has captured two American drug-related suspects in its territory. These two people purchased non-scheduled precursor chemicals, made drugs in the United States, and distributed them to inmates in many federal and state prisons in the United States.
